{"id":420,"date":"2019-04-16T15:55:10","date_gmt":"2019-04-16T14:55:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.bizoir.dk\/?p=420"},"modified":"2019-04-29T21:45:27","modified_gmt":"2019-04-29T20:45:27","slug":"pdf-generation-from-c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.bizoir.dk\/?p=420","title":{"rendered":"PDF generation from C#"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The free (MIT License) library <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pdfsharp.net\/wiki\/PDFsharpFAQ.ashx\">PDFSharp<\/a> can generate PDFs programmatically using C#.<\/p>\n<p>It cannot (itself) convert HTML to PDFs, but some 3rd party solutions exist for that purpose<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.progressionem.com.au\/?p=157\">HTML to PDF using PDFSharp<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It can also handle some CSS (but it requires a specific syntax &#8211; ie. not all valid CSS is usable here)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Another option is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.essentialobjects.com\/ViewDoc.aspx\">Essential Objects PDF<\/a> which contains an inbuilt HTML-&gt;PDF converter. This is <strong>NOT free<\/strong>, but an evaluation version is available.<\/p>\n<p>It works very well, but contains an entire HTML engine, and hence, consumes quite a lot of memory.
